Rusty Nail Cocktail Dress

Created in 2001
Old rusty nails are sewn and glued to a 1950s style cocktail dress and hat made
from canvas remnants, as well as a vintage purse and pair of shoes. This
ensemble took 125 hours to create.
Green Building
Construction materials are an important part of the green-building movement. The
buildings that we live and work in have a tremendous impact on the environment.
Starting from the waste created in the process of building, to the energy use of
the heating and cooling systems, green built structures significantly reduce the
gasses that contribute to climate change.
